Biden-themed products continue at an anemic pace. We are within two months of election-day and Biden has zero products in the top 100 for Outdoor Flags & Banners, Women’s Accessories, and Women’s Novelty T-shirts. These categories are somewhat ironic as Democrats normally do better among women.
The fact that Biden has not been able to significantly increase his sales in these categories should be a red flag for political pundits everywhere.
Though possible, it is highly unlikely that a candidate whose political paraphernalia are selling so poorly on Amazon (the largest e-commerce platform in the US) will win a national election. The chances of that candidate winning in a landslide seems extremely meager.
The following chart depicts the data from Table 1, with the exception of Outdoor Flags & Banners which has so many reviews that its inclusion would distort the chart. Here, we can see just how dominant the Trump-themed products are on Amazon.

These figures imply an overwhelming advantage for Trump in terms of enthusiasm. That is, we can assume that at the very least his supporters are far more enthusiastic given these Amazon reviews.
Having said this, Biden is predicted to easily win by almost every major forecaster as his poll numbers continue to impress. We will continue to cover this divergence between Biden strength in polls and Trump strength on-line or according to alt data.
